Gophie is a Gopher Browser for Mac OS X written in 
Java.  Gophie allows you to navigate Gopherspace, 
read text, view images, and download files with the 
integrated download manager.

The Mac package for Gophie is a DMG-file.  UnZip the 
DMG, and drag this Gophie file into the application 
folder.  Afterwards Gophie will be available in your 
applications to launch wherever you wish.
