Seamlessly browse and switch back and forth between the Web and Gopherspace, with full integration with Android features such as support for multiple devices and resolutions, screen zoom, Home screen shortcuts, and portrait and landscape orientations. Handles gopher:// URLs from the Browser automatically! Fast, uses minimal bandwidth, and great for roaming or low-speed links where Web browsing may be slow or costly! System Requirements: -------------------- * Any Android phone or device with software versions 1.5 - 8.x (under ver 4 suggested). Due to technical requirements for future versions, this will be the last version to support Android 1.5 (Cupcake). Installation/upgrading directions: ---------------------------------- - Enable installation from unknown sources: Home, Menu, Settings, Applications, Unknown sources. Check the box. Uncheck it when these steps are complete. - Overbite Android is supplied as an APK. Either directly download the APK to your device with the browser or to your device's memory card. Keep the extension as .apk. - Depending on your configuration, you may simply be able to touch and install the APK directly. You can also use a tool such as OI File Manager, AppsInstaller or Astro File Manager to do this installation step. - Start Overbite Android by touching the icon in your applications tab.
