This is the University of Minnesota's Internet Gopher Server (GopherD)
and Gopher+ Curses Client for UNIX machines.  A client for VMS is also 
included (as due to a lack of access to an appropriate Unix system, I 
am unable to separate the Server, Client, and VMS Client components).

This version of UMN GopherD was released as a Beta Testing platform 
for enhancements to Gopher 0 that were outlined in the July 30, 1993 
University of Minnesota proposal paper: "Gopher+".  

This software has several serious bugs and security holes, and should 
-NOT- be used in a production environment!
